Public Skills
engage
by TuckerBrady
Activate a brand-new Overmind and build its team. Use when the human types /engage, optionally with their first name ("/engage Sarah"), says "engage", or uses the legacy phrase "[FirstName] is online". One time per team: if there is any sign of a team here (a TEAM_ROSTER.md, member BOOT.md files, or a session that already has an identity), never rebuild it; report status instead.
go
by TuckerBrady
Mission activation. When the human types /go, this session reads its own HANDOFF.md and activates the staged mission. The one activation trigger for every dispatched mission, solo or group: after a dispatch, the human opens each session and types /go. No passphrase — dispatched missions and session handoffs both activate on /go. Use when the human invokes /go or types "go" as their entire message in a session that may have a staged brief.
dispatch
by TuckerBrady
Dispatch a task to one or more specialist AI sessions as a mission with lanes. Use when the human describes work for a team member, says "send this to...", "triage this to...", "dispatch to...", "brief [name]", "spin up [name] for...", or describes a task that maps to a domain expert on the team roster. Also use when the human says "I need [name] to handle X" or "get [name] working on Y". Output: HANDOFF.md written to each specialist's folder, one mission row on the board, and a single instruction for the human: open each session and type /go. No passphrase to relay — dispatched missions activate on the go command.
assimilate
by TuckerBrady
Check what Collective venue capabilities this Overmind has available, list every Collective it's currently seated in, and — the first time it ever runs — mint this Overmind's permanent Genesis Seed. Use when the human types /assimilate, says "check my collective status", "what collectives am I in", "I was invited to a collective", or reports that another human said their Overmind has been invited. Overmind-only: refuses outright in a specialist session, and never mints a Genesis Seed for one.
collective
by TuckerBrady
Coordinate multiple AI Overminds across an org — no server required. Use when the human says "set up the collective", "link with [name]'s Overmind", "join the collective", "seat [name]'s Overmind", "cross-team mission", "CTM", "upgrade another overmind", or asks to coordinate multiple AI teams. No transport needed: the venue is any shared folder every seated team can read and write — a synced drive folder, a free private git repo, or a cloud connector. A bound TRANSPORT.md remains an optional accelerator over the same conventions. Output: a collective binder (COLLECTIVE.md, SEATS.md, COLLECTIVE_BOARD.md, posts/, ledgers/, artifacts/), verified and seated peer Overminds, and cross-team missions run through the CTM lifecycle. This is the convener's side; a human who's been invited should be told to run /assimilate instead (skills/assimilate/SKILL.md) — Overmind-only, refuses any specialist.
overmind
by TuckerBrady
Use this skill when the user types /engage (or the legacy "[FirstName] is online"), says "set up my AI team", "build my team", "activate my Overmind", "I want an AI team", or any phrase asking to design, build, or manage a custom team of AI specialists. Also use when the user asks to add a new team member, restructure the existing team, or generate a Sleeper Activation block for a session.
roster
by TuckerBrady
Add, remove, rename, re-role, or re-theme a member (or the whole team) — one seamless, repeatable process that keeps every file in sync. Use when the human says "add a team member", "add [role] to the team", "remove [name]", "retire [name]", "I removed [names]", "downsize the team", "bring back [name]", "resurrect [name]", "rename [name]", "who's on the team", "sync the roster", "re-theme the team", "change our team style", "switch to [preset name] style", or "give the team a new name theme". Also use when the sessions the human actually has no longer match TEAM_ROSTER.md. Output: roster, folders, boot layers, dispatch roster, and Overmind memory all updated in one pass.
diagnostic
by TuckerBrady
Verify that an Overmind installation is actually wired correctly, and diagnose it when it isn't. Use when the human types /diagnostic, says "run a diagnostic", "level 1 diagnostic", "self test", "verify my setup", "is my team wired up right?", "something's broken with my Overmind", or right after first-run team building to confirm every system is functional. Three levels: 3 (fast local sweep, default), 2 (adds live platform probes), 1 (adds the full multi-session asset audit). Every FAIL prints its own fix.
status
by TuckerBrady
Report live mission status. When the human types /status, read the shared state at the team root and answer in this session — no session hopping, no waiting on a poll. In the Overmind's session this is the whole board reconciled against the transport pulse when one is bound, always closed with a human-readable scoreboard plus the repainted mission-board artifact; in a specialist's session it's that specialist's own mission and lane. Use when the human invokes /status, or asks "what's in flight?", "where are we?", "status?", or "what's everyone working on?".
caveman
by TuckerBrady
Ultra-compressed communication mode. Cuts token usage ~75% by speaking like caveman while keeping full technical accuracy. Supports intensity levels: lite, full (default), ultra. Use when user says "caveman mode", "talk like caveman", "use caveman", "less tokens", "be brief", or invokes /caveman. Also auto-triggers when token efficiency is requested.
