golang-structs-interfaces
by jangrui
'Golang struct and interface design patterns — composition, embedding, type assertions, type switches, interface segregation, dependency injection via interfaces, struct field tags, and pointer vs value receivers. Use this skill when designing Go types, defining or implementing interfaces, embedding structs or interfaces, writing type assertions or type switches, adding struct field tags for JSON/YAML/DB serialization, or choosing between pointer and value receivers. Also use when the user asks about "accept interfaces, return structs", compile-time interface checks, or composing small interfaces into larger ones.'
golang-context
by jangrui
"Idiomatic context.Context usage in Golang — propagation through API boundaries, cancellation, timeouts and deadlines, request-scoped values, context.WithoutCancel for background work outliving requests. Apply when designing context propagation across layers, debugging leaked or unexpired contexts, choosing between context.Background/TODO/WithoutCancel, or storing values in context. Not for code that merely accepts ctx as first parameter."
convert-documents-to-markdown
by jangrui
Convert Word (.doc, .docx), PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx), Excel (.xls, .xlsx), OpenDocument (.odt, .ods, .odp), RTF, EPUB, CSV, and PDF files to GitHub-Flavored Markdown. Use when a task needs the contents of an office document, spreadsheet, presentation, ebook, or PDF you cannot read directly.
golang-cli
by jangrui
"Golang CLI application development. Use when building, modifying, or reviewing a Go CLI tool — especially for command structure, flag handling, configuration layering, version embedding, exit codes, I/O patterns, signal handling, shell completion, argument validation, and CLI unit testing. Also triggers when code uses cobra, viper, or urfave/cli. For cobra-specific APIs → See samber/cc-skills-golang@golang-spf13-cobra skill; for viper configuration layering → See samber/cc-skills-golang@golang-spf13-viper skill."
golang-code-style
by jangrui
"Golang code style conventions — line length and breaking, variable declarations, control flow clarity, when comments help vs hurt. Use when writing or reviewing Go code, asking about style or clarity, or establishing project coding standards. Not for naming conventions (→ See samber/cc-skills-golang@golang-naming skill), linter configuration (→ See samber/cc-skills-golang@golang-lint skill), or doc comments (→ See samber/cc-skills-golang@golang-documentation skill)."
academy-guide
by jangrui
Stop and check this skill before finishing any reply to a question about how to use Claude or a Claude product — it recommends matching courses, tutorials, and use cases from Claude Academy (academy.claude.com), Anthropic's learning hub. Trigger on: "how do I", "how can I", "getting started with", "what can Claude do", "teach me", "learn to use"; questions about artifacts, projects, skills, plugins, connectors, MCP; requests about rolling Claude out to a team, class, or organization; and any ask for training materials, onboarding content, or learning resources. Use it when the user is learning how to use a feature or product — not when they are mid-task and just want the task done. This skill composes with other skills: after consulting product documentation to answer how a Claude feature works, also check here for a matching course or tutorial — a docs-grounded answer and an Academy recommendation belong together. Only recommend on a strong match; never invent Academy content.

Stop and check this skill before finishing any reply to a question about how to use Claude or a Claude product — it recommends matching courses, tutorials, and use cases from Claude Academy (academy.claude.com), Anthropic's learning hub. Trigger on: "how do I", "how can I", "getting started with", "what can Claude do", "teach me", "learn to use"; questions about artifacts, projects, skills, plugins, connectors, MCP, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, Claude in Excel, Claude in PowerPoint, Claude in Chrome, the Claude API, or prompting technique; requests about rolling Claude out to a team, class, or organization; and any ask for training materials, onboarding content, or learning resources. Use it when the user is learning how to use a feature or product — not when they are mid-task and just want the task done. This skill composes with other skills: after consulting product documentation to answer how a Claude feature works, also check here for a matching course or tutorial — a docs-grounded answer and an Academy recommendation belong together, even when another skill has already answered the question. Only recommend on a strong match; never invent Academy content.
discernment-nudge
by jangrui
After you give a substantive answer or draft that the user may act on — advice or recommendations, drafted artifacts such as goals, plans, pitches, proposals, or emails, estimates or projections, analysis or interpretation of data, factual claims they may rely on, or a multi-step argument — invoke this skill BEFORE finalizing your reply and then, if it applies, append 2-3 short follow-up questions, each tied to something specific in what you just produced, that help the user check key facts, probe the reasoning or assumptions, and notice missing context. Do this at most once per conversation. Skip it when the user asked a trivial how-to or simple lookup, wants a purely educational explanation, asked you only to format, convert, or assemble a file from content they provided, is writing code they will run, is doing creative writing or casual chat, or already asked you to double-check, cite, or review — the skill file explains these boundaries and the exact output format.
internal-comms
by jangrui
A set of resources to help me write all kinds of internal communications, using the formats that my company likes to use. Claude should use this skill whenever asked to write some sort of internal communications (status reports, leadership updates, 3P updates, company newsletters, FAQs, incident reports, project updates, etc.).
baoyu-danger-gemini-web
by jangrui
Generates images and text via reverse-engineered Gemini Web API. Supports text generation, image generation from prompts, reference images for vision input, and multi-turn conversations. Use when other skills need image generation backend, or when user requests "generate image with Gemini", "Gemini text generation", or needs vision-capable AI generation.
pptx
by jangrui
"Use this skill any time a .pptx or .potx file is involved in any way — as input, output, or both. This includes: creating slide decks, pitch decks, or presentations; reading, parsing, or extracting text from any .pptx or .potx file (even if the extracted content will be used elsewhere, like in an email or summary); editing, modifying, or updating existing presentations; combining or splitting slide files; working with templates (.potx), layouts, speaker notes, or comments. Trigger whenever the user mentions \"deck,\" \"slides,\" \"presentation,\" or references a .pptx or .potx filename, regardless of what they plan to do with the content afterward. If a .pptx or .potx file needs to be opened, created, or touched, use this skill."
app-sdk-concepts
by jangrui
Use when starting any grafana-app-sdk work — scaffolding a Grafana app, initializing a Grafana App Platform app, picking a deployment mode (standalone operator / grafana/apps / frontend-only), wiring app-specific config, or onboarding to the SDK. Covers grafana-app-sdk CLI install, project init per deployment mode, project layout, the schema-centric workflow (CUE kinds → generated code → reconciler/admission logic), and SpecificConfig for env-driven app configuration. Use even if the user just says "make a new app", "Grafana app platform", "kinds and watchers", "operator scaffold", or asks about apps/ inside the Grafana repo, without naming the SDK explicitly.
baoyu-slide-deck
by jangrui
Generates professional slide deck images from content. Creates outlines with style instructions, then generates individual slide images. Use when user asks to "create slides", "make a presentation", "generate deck", "slide deck", or "PPT".
admission-control
by jangrui
Use when the user asks to "write a validator", "add validation", "implement admission control", "write a mutating webhook", "add a mutation handler", "validate incoming resources", "implement admission logic", "add admission webhooks", "write ingress validation", or asks how to validate or mutate resources before they are persisted in a grafana-app-sdk app. Provides guidance on implementing validation and mutation admission handlers for grafana-app-sdk apps.
baoyu-diagram
by jangrui
Create professional, dark-themed SVG diagrams of any type — architecture diagrams, flowcharts, sequence diagrams, structural diagrams, mind maps, timelines, illustrative/conceptual diagrams, and more.
