Public Skills
trust-appraise-all
by gaia-research
Use this skill when the user wants the full existing-registry Trust Magnitude inspector: understand why a named Gaia skill has a particular star rank, what its Trust Magnitude (TM) score is, which evidence rows are contributing (or dead), how far it is from the next grade, or what evidence to add to move the needle. Also use when asked for a full leaderboard of all named skills ranked by TM. Triggers: "why does X have 3 stars", "what's the TM for X", "inspect TM", "explain the score for X", "what evidence would rank up X", "show leaderboard", "rank all skills by TM", "what's dragging down X's score", "dead evidence rows", "how close is X to grade A/S".
trust-appraise
by gaia-research
Dry-run Trust Magnitude for proposed named skills or suites before curation. Use when deciding whether a proposed suite deserves A/S treatment, when checking Fusion Score structural inputs, when comparing repo stars vs suite component counts, or when asked to appraise a candidate before adding it to the registry.
fp-drift
by gaia-research
Phase 5 of the feature-pipeline suite. Use this after /fp-iterate prints the M4 stop hook confirming CI is green. Fetches origin/main, runs gaia dev diff to surface any skill-registry changes the PR introduced that are unrelated to its stated purpose (accidental drift), then prints the final pipeline summary including a CI churn report (via /ci-churn). Also invoke standalone whenever you want to audit whether a branch has unexpected registry drift — e.g. before merging any review/meta or cli/ branch, or when a reviewer asks "did this PR touch anything it shouldn't?". Triggers: "check for drift", "drift check", "final summary", "pipeline done", "wrap up the pipeline", "fp-drift", "Phase 5".
fp-review
by gaia-research
Phase 3 of the feature-pipeline suite. Run this after /fp-implement has pushed all commits and printed the M2 stop hook. Spawns a sandboxed sub-agent (HEAVIER) in an isolated worktree to run RED/GREEN tests against the PR diff and post a structured review comment. Use when you need an independent agent to verify correctness of implementation changes before CI runs — especially for schema mutations, CLI surface changes, or doc-touching commits. Triggers on: "review the PR", "run sandbox review", "fp-review", "Phase 3", "check the implementation", "validate the changes", "run tests on the PR", or any instruction to verify what /fp-implement just pushed.
gaia-bot-curate
by gaia-research
Curate Gaia bot crawler branches into real-skill catalog entries and clean up processed bot/ branches. Use when the user says: "process bot branches", "curate the crawl output", "clean up bot proposals", "run bot curation", "merge the crawler results", "review bot/ branches", "ingest crawler data", or explicitly types /gaia-bot-curate. Also triggers when the user asks to review pending bot/* branches, turn crawler JSON proposals into registry nodes, decide which crawled skills to accept vs reject, or batch-add skills from an automated crawl run. This skill handles the full pipeline: fetch remote bot branches, triage proposals, run gaia dev mutations, validate, open a PR, and delete consumed bot branches.
trust-methodology-consult
by gaia-research
Consult this skill BEFORE proposing a fix to any CLI gap or schema gap that touches evidence, trust magnitude, evidence types, evidence grades, the TM formula, or star-level promotion gates. Also read it whenever an issue mentions citations, stars, commits, contributors, views, reviewers, percentile, arxiv, github-stars-own, repo-own, social-signal, benchmark-result, peer-review, self-attestation, fusion-recipe, verifier-attestation, or proxy-containment — those are the 10 canonical evidence types and the raw inputs that feed their formulas. Also read it when asked whether a skill qualifies for a given star level (0★–6★): the Star Bar and promotion gates live in META.md, not in the TM methodology page. Reading both prevents proposing a calibration that satisfies the TM grade threshold but violates a Star Bar installability or link requirement.
gaia-issue-resolver
by gaia-research
End-to-end plan → implement → review pipeline that takes one triaged Gaia issue to a merged-ready PR, with Kill Criteria on the issue and zero follow-up debt. Use when someone says: "resolve this issue", "take #N end-to-end", "work the P0 queue", "fix and ship this issue", "run the resolver", "close out this issue properly", or /gaia-issue-resolver. Works any gaia-research org repo — gaia-skill-tree, gaia-research, gaia-skill-heaven — while the issue itself lives on the headquarters tracker, gaia-research/gaia-skill-tree. Assumes the issue is already triaged and carries a P0–P4 label; if it does not, run /gaia-triage first.
wayfinder
by gaia-research
Chart a too-big effort as a shared map of decision tickets on the Gaia headquarters issue tracker, then resolve them one at a time until the way to the destination is clear. Use when someone says: "this is too big for one session", "chart a map", "wayfinder map", "plan this effort", "what do we need to decide first", "open a wayfinder", "work the map", "what's on the frontier", or /wayfinder. Covers any gaia-research org repo — gaia-skill-tree, gaia-research, gaia-skill-heaven and beyond — but every map and every ticket lives on ONE tracker: gaia-research/gaia-skill-tree. This is cartography (planning an effort as decisions), NOT triage of an existing backlog — for that use /gaia-triage.
gaia-quick-curate
by gaia-research
Inspect or exercise the paused gaia curate orchestration scaffold for one source URL. The command currently persists an INITIALIZED run ledger and reports status; its 25 named workflow states and transition methods are a design skeleton, not an implemented automated curation or merge pipeline. Use only for scaffold development, status inspection, or dry-run contract work. For live curation, use gaia-full-pipeline or gaia-consult. Trigger phrases: "/gaia-quick-curate", "inspect gaia curate", "curate scaffold", "quick curate status". For batch/multi-page runs use gaia-curate-dynamic; for crawler branches use gaia-bot-curate; for pending intake proposals use gaia-draft-curate.
ev-pipeline
by gaia-research
Top-level orchestrator for the Gaia Skill Tree evidence verification pipeline. Run this when you want to do a full evidence pass — collecting raw sources, verifying live GitHub star counts, running Phase 2B benchmark-source verification, adversarially auditing for quality/formatting issues, and checking that every URL is reachable — all in one coordinated sequence. Trigger phrases: "run the evidence pipeline", "full evidence pass", "verify evidence", "evidence verification pipeline", "run ev-pipeline", "check all evidence", "audit the data lake", "evidence quality sweep", "refresh evidence", "validate evidence sources". Also aliased as /evidence-verification-pipeline. Use the individual sub-skills (ev-collection, ev-star-verification, ev-adversarial-audit, ev-link-validation) only when you need to re-run one phase in isolation; for end-to-end work, always start here.
ev-benchmark-verification
by gaia-research
Phase 2B of the Gaia evidence verification pipeline. Verifies benchmark-result rows and benchmark-source candidates against registry/benchmark-sources.json before adversarial audit, link validation, catalog promotion, or ingestion. Use when running /ev-pipeline, checking benchmark-result evidence, reviewing benchmark-source candidates, or preparing benchmark rows for /gaia-ingest-batch.
gaia-ingest-batch
by gaia-research
Batch wrapper for /gaia-ingest. Ingests a bounded set of already-verified evidence rows through CLI-only writes, uses --no-build on every row, appraises Trust Magnitude for every affected named skill, then runs exactly one build and validation pass. Use for an L4-approved intake after /ev-pipeline; benchmark-result rows also require a Phase 2B report and explicit human gate approval.
evidence-verification-pipeline
by gaia-research
Canonical entry point for the full Gaia evidence verification pipeline. Invoke as /evidence-verification-pipeline or /ev-pipeline — both names trigger this skill. Use whenever you need to run the evidence phases end-to-end: collecting raw evidence from the data lake, verifying live GitHub star counts, running Phase 2B benchmark-source verification, running adversarial auditing for noise and URL errors, and checking link health via Firecrawl. Also use when someone says "run the evidence pipeline", "verify the evidence lake", "audit evidence", "run ev-pipeline", "full evidence check", "pipeline run", "prepare evidence for ingestion", or "refresh the data lake". This is the pre-ingestion step — run it before importing any evidence into the registry.
pi-cost
by gaia-research
Calculate and display the token usage, turns, and estimated cost for the active session and subagent runs by parsing the harness session logs. Use when the user asks for token usage, session cost, or types /pi-cost.
ev-star-verification
by gaia-research
Phase 2 of the evidence verification pipeline. Validates GitHub star counts in registry skill files against live GitHub API data and flags stale or inflated metrics without repartitioning evidence by rank. Use this after /ev-collection has compiled the unified data lake and before /ev-adversarial-audit begins. Trigger phrases: "verify stars", "check star counts", "refresh stargazer metrics", "run star verification", "ev-star-verification", "Phase 2", "live star check".
gaia-fuse-full-suite
by gaia-research
Fuse all of a contributor's named skills into a single fusion node (suite capstone) in the registry. Use when the user says "fuse <contributor>'s skills", "create a suite for <contributor>", "build a capstone for <user>", "fuse all of <user>'s named skills", "create a suite fusion", "consolidate <contributor> into one skill", or explicitly types /gaia-fuse-full-suite. Also triggers when a contributor has accumulated 3+ named skills and the user asks what to do next with them, or when someone asks "can we make a suite from these?". This skill: collects component IDs from registry/named/<contributor>/, verifies nodes exist, researches evidence and appraises Trust Magnitude, runs gaia dev fuse to write the fusion node and suite manifest, validates, and opens a PR on a review/meta/ branch.
gaia-post
by gaia-research
Publish a new post (announcement, link, or LaTeX-style meta report) to the Gaia site. Use when you want to add any update to the registry's public feed and landing page.
update-suite-instructions
by gaia-research
Sync suite skill installation instructions with upstream sources and ensure Gaia-compliant styling.
design-gate
by gaia-research
Produce the rendered evidence a human-gated frontend PR owes its reviewer: capture each changed surface (plus the before state for anything modified, plus mobile width), then generate one self-contained local HTML page the founder can open and review without checking anything out. Use when a PR is gated by the "Frontend changes are HUMAN-GATED" section of CLAUDE.md, or when the user says "/design-gate", "screenshot evidence for this PR", "prep this for founder review", "build the design evidence page", "what does this look like before and after". The page comes from a template script, not hand-written markup. Output is session-local and never committed. Do NOT use for non-gated changes: typo/grammar/factual fixes in an unchanged block, dead link targets, alt/ARIA fixes with no visual change, cache-bust bumps, or refactors with no rendered diff.
feature-pipeline
by gaia-research
Multi-agent exploration-to-PR pipeline for safely exploring, fixing, and shipping a feature or CLI. Use when the user says: "explore X", "test and ship X", "run the pipeline on X", "run /feature-pipeline on X", "let's properly investigate X", "stress-test X and file issues", or "take X through the full pipeline." Also triggers on: "find what's broken in X", "test X end-to-end", "do a sandbox review of X", "file issues for X and fix them." Do NOT use for single-file bug fixes or one-off edits — the overhead is only justified when exploration, planning approval, and CI watching all matter. Manages state via scripts/state.sh (jq required). Five phases: LIGHTER explores → ORCHESTRATOR drafts PR → HEAVIER plans (user approves first) → ORCHESTRATOR commits → HEAVIER sandbox review → LIGHTER iterates CI → LIGHTER drift check + summary. Four mandatory stop hooks (M1–M4) gate each phase transition.
gaia-release
by gaia-research
Helper for release operations, compilation of changelogs between tags, version lockstep syncing, and promotion of GitHub releases from canary/pre-release to latest/production. Use when the user asks to "compile the changelog", "promote release to latest", "tag a release", or do version release operations.
epic-close
by gaia-research
Close out a completed EPIC / sprint end-to-end: author a fact-verified meta-post announcing what shipped, archive the EPIC's handovers, snapshot orchestrator memory, gate the integration→main merge on CI-green + explicit human go, drive the version bump (merge-commit conventions that auto-sync classifies), and verify the release reached the registry/PyPI. Use when the user says "close out EPIC <n>", "wrap up the sprint", "ship the meta shift", "/epic-close", or asks to finalize an integration branch that is ready to merge to main. Generalizes the EPIC 1002 (Yggdrasil II) close-out. This skill orchestrates — it authors founder docs directly (superadmin) and delegates code/regen to workers; it NEVER merges to main without the human gate.
regen
by gaia-research
Manually trigger artifact regeneration, versioning, and chore commit. Use when you need fine-grained control over when registry artifacts sync (outside the automated sync-artifacts.yml workflow).
honesty-mode
by gaia-research
Toggle the badges-page Honesty Mode build-time flag on or off. ON makes the README badge generator emit direct /badges/_assets/<handle>/<file>.svg URLs (no Cloudflare Worker, no ?repo= validation). OFF restores worker-validated URLs. Use when the user says "/honesty-mode on", "/honesty-mode off", "turn honesty mode on/off", or asks for the current honesty-mode state.
