/forward - Handoff to Next Session
Create context for next session, then enter plan mode to define next steps.
Usage
/forward # Create handoff + enter plan mode (default)
/forward --only # Create handoff only, skip plan modeSteps
- Git status: Check uncommitted work
- Session summary: What we did (from memory)
- Pending items: What's left
- Next steps: Specific actions

After creating handoff:
- Commit:
git add -A && git commit -m "handoff: [slug]" - Push:
git push origin main - Enter plan mode for next session planning
Auto Plan Mode (REQUIRED)
CRITICAL: After commit & push succeeds, you MUST enter plan mode:
Step 1: Call EnterPlanMode Tool
⚠️ REQUIRED ACTION: Call the EnterPlanMode tool NOWDo NOT skip this step. Do NOT ask user if they want plan mode.
Just call EnterPlanMode tool immediately after push.
Step 2: In Plan Mode
Write a plan file that:
- References the handoff file just created
- Lists pending tasks from handoff
- Defines next session scope

Call ExitPlanMode tool when plan is complete.
After approval → Ready for /compact then /clear
Skip Plan Mode
If user says /forward --only or context is very low:
- Skip plan mode
- Just tell user: "💡 Run /plan to plan next session"
