Portfolio review
Produce a factual review of the user's Trading 212 account. Every number must come from a TradePilot tool result; never estimate weights, returns or totals yourself.
Steps
- Pick the window from the request (
1m,3m,ytd,1y,all). Default toytd. Use the environment the user names, otherwise the instance default. - Call
get_portfolio_performancefor the window. Ifcoverage.truncatedis true, say the figures cover only the most recent history and offer to rerun with a largermaxPages. - Call
get_income_summaryfor the same window. - Call
analyze_portfolio_allocation. - Optionally call
get_portfolio_dashboardto show the interactive view.
Report shape
Lead with three numbers: realized P/L, unrealized P/L, and income for the period, in the account currency. Then cover, briefly:
- Contributions: deposits, withdrawals, and net. Report
simpleReturnonly when the tool returned it (all-time, untruncated), and call it a simple return on net contributions, not an annualized or time-weighted return. - Costs: total and the two largest cost types. FX conversion fees are often the biggest; point that out when true.
- Winners and losers: the top contributors from
byTicker. - Allocation: cash share, largest holding, top-5 share, effective number of holdings, currency exposure, and every flag the tool raised.
- Next steps: at most three concrete observations, such as concentration or cash drag. This is information, not personalised financial advice. Do not place or prepare orders unless the user asks.
