DSOM Cognitive Protocol Skill

This skill governs the integration and execution of the Deep State of Mind (DSOM) cognitive framework across all operating AI Agent environments (such as Google Jules and Google Antigravity).

When to use this skill

  • When initializing an AI agent session or reanimating cognitive state.
  • When tracking task progress in .agents/brain/task.md or session logs in walkthrough.md.
  • When updating AI rules in AGENTS.md and .agents/AGENTS.md.

Operational Standards & Procedures

1. Zero-Global / Spatial Memory Protocol

To prevent pollution of the global repository namespace with ephemeral session state:

  • The workspace implements the Deep State of Mind (DSOM) cognitive protocol, which requires tracking spatial memory strictly within .agents/brain/ (including task.md and walkthrough.md).

2. Dual Rulebook Synchronisation & Antigravity Agent Skills

Ensure the operational guidelines remain aligned across the gateways and skills are clearly catalogued:

  • Root-level AGENTS.md and .agents/AGENTS.md rules and configurations are fully synchronised, establishing an AI Agent Gateway, registering all Google Antigravity-compatible Agent Skills, and explicitly documenting the strict OKF v0.1 compliance rules.
  • The workspace defines a comprehensive suite of 8 Google Antigravity-compatible Agent Skills located under .agents/skills/ (static-security-hardening, github-pages-deployment, render-deployment, dependency-management, context7-integration, build-preview-workflow, documentation-governance, and dsom-cognitive-protocol). Each skill contains a SKILL.md file featuring a combined OKF/Antigravity YAML frontmatter block and a standard Deep State of Mind (DSOM) AI Protocol footer.

3. The 5-Step Knowledge-First Discovery Flow

Before executing terminal commands or probing external resources, agents must follow the discovery flow:

  1. Search OKF frontmatter in local documentation.
  2. Target specific line ranges via read tools.
  3. Verify the OKF timestamp for context.
  4. Obtain human consensus if information is stale.
  5. Execute physical terminal commands only when necessary.

4. Static Modernisation Core Objective

  • Understand that CMSForNerd2 is a static modernisation of the legacy database-free PHP CMS, utilising Astro Static Site Generator (SSG) to produce purely statically served assets (HTML5, CSS3, ES6+ JS).
