today

Real-world plan for today — sessions with their current doses, what's already logged, what's left, nutrition still to go. Use when the user asks what today's plan is, what's left, or what to do now. Ledger only, no story.

/today: the Ledger, one day

  1. git pull --rebase origin main, then python3 engine/darrow.py today (add --date if $ARGUMENTS names a day).
  2. Read only the sections today needs, never the whole files:
    • a knee session day: python3 engine/darrow.py doc state "session a" (or "session b"), plus doc state "progression rules" if a change is due;
    • every day: the daily-minimum and bike lines in real/NOW.md → Plan in force (doc state "daily minimum" for the full text);
    • an upper, accessory or power day: doc addon 3 (sessions);
    • a sport day (template sport): this week's row of doc sport "first 12 weeks" (week 1 = Sun 10/11) and that week in the guide (doc sportguide "week N"), only as far as the current stage allows (config.json → sport.stage);
    • a PT day: the one question list, doc state "next visit" (State §5), plus anything real/NOW.md → Next PT visit adds since, and the newest PT Notes entry (doc ptnotes <date>) if the last visit changed anything.
      The newest PT Notes entry outranks the State until the checkpoint folds it in (real/NOW.md says when).
  3. Answer, real numbers only, compact enough for a phone:
    • Planned today: each session with today's doses (e.g., Session A: SL sit-to-stand 24" 2 × 12 L …), the floor minimum, conditioning, and the minimum version if he's short on time (the plan's "short on time" cut order).
    • Done so far (from the engine).
    • Still open: the engine's Still open line, which already holds the day's planned sessions with plan changes applied (a red-light day owes none), in priority order: floor first, then the knee session, then add-ons. It means nothing is recorded yet, not that it wasn't done: if he says he did it, that's a /log. A partial session or a missed PT visit is recorded, so it isn't open. The optional add-ons (optional this week) are never on it: mention one only if he asks, and never before its from date.
    • Nutrition: kcal and protein to go, and one practical way to close the gap (based on what he usually eats).
    • The project: the engine's Project: line as a reminder of the next task of the week's work ("project: park the CRV"), never as a debt; none open: five words, no more. A task he reports done is /project.
    • PT day: list the questions to ask.
  4. No story content. If he wants the story, that's /saga.
