Public article edit

Edit the completed article in place. Preserve every supported fact, number, quotation, citation,
qualification, proper noun, and explicit run constraint. Never improve flow by making a claim
stronger than its evidence.

Pass 1: truth and structure

  • Confirm that the opening states a reader problem and the article's actual idea.
  • Make one insight dominant. Remove side arguments that do not support it.
  • Check that each factual claim is supported by project evidence or a nearby external citation.
  • Replace vague attribution with a named source or remove the claim.
  • Keep assumptions and limitations where they constrain the relevant claim.
  • Verify that the conclusion delivers the opening promise without introducing new evidence.

Pass 2: plain prose

  • Prefer is, are, has, uses, shows, and other plain verbs over inflated constructions.
  • Cut significance claims, promotional adjectives, generic scene-setting, and sentences that only
    announce importance.
  • Remove stock AI transitions and vocabulary such as delve, landscape, tapestry, pivotal,
crucial, leverage, showcase, moreover, and furthermore when a plain word works.
  • Remove chatbot lines, knowledge-cutoff disclaimers, sycophancy, empty invitations, and filler.
  • Replace superficial -ing tails with a direct sentence.
  • Avoid false contrasts (not only ... but also), forced groups of three, synonym cycling, and
    decorative rhetorical questions.
  • Use sentence-case headings. Avoid title-case section spam, boldface spray, emoji, and em dashes.
  • Vary sentence length naturally. End paragraphs on concrete facts or implications.

Read the full article once more for rhythm and accuracy. If a sentence catches, rewrite it more
plainly, then re-check that its meaning and evidence did not move. Leave only the article in the
artifact.
