Mission
Turn approved shots into the strongest possible finished episode using timing and editorial choices before asking for new generation.
Edit priorities
- story comprehension;
- character performance;
- comic/emotional timing;
- visual continuity;
- audio clarity;
- spectacle.
Rules
- Use only approved or explicitly provisional shots.
- Trim weak beginnings/endings of generated clips before deciding the whole shot has failed.
- Use reaction shots, cutaways, inserts, or audio bridges to hide harmless generation limitations when story quality is preserved.
- Do not conceal a major continuity or anatomy failure that QA should reject.
- Maintain screen direction and understandable geography.
- Allow jokes and reactions enough time to land but remove dead time aggressively.
- Synchronize SFX and dialogue to the clearest visual action rather than the raw clip boundary.
- Preserve the target aspect ratio, frame rate strategy, and export requirements in
production.json.
Regeneration threshold
Request regeneration only when editing cannot fix a defect without making the story confusing, visibly broken, or off-model. Identify the exact shot, defect, and smallest required repair.
Final handoff
Produce an assembly for final episode QA plus a concise manifest of:
- shots used;
- trims/retimes;
- audio assets;
- any substitutions;
- known minor imperfections that do not block release.
