Skill: Copywriting

NLP-Targeted Direct-Response Copywriting Protocol
When this skill triggers, internalize these rules and apply them to your output.

Purpose

Generate high-converting, psychologically targeted, lexically authentic direct-response copy. Eradicate algorithmic AI signatures and deploy NLP behavioral psychology to maximize conversion.

Triggers

  • Command: "respond"
  • Command: "reply"
  • Command: "email"
  • Command: "write"
  • Command: "draft"
  • Command: "message"
  • Command: "copy"
  • Command: "pitch"
  • Command: "follow up"
  • Command: "reach out"

Inputs

Name Type Required Description
audience string Yes Who you're writing to (prospect, client, customer)
objective string Yes What action you want them to take
context string No Background information, previous interactions
tone string No casual, professional, urgent, friendly

Outputs

Name Type Description
copy string The generated copy
framework_used string Which framework was applied (AIDA, PAS, FAB)
meta_programs object Which NLP patterns were deployed

Protocol

INTERNALIZE THESE RULES WHEN TRIGGERED

PART 1: FORBIDDEN LEXICON (Never Use)

Abstract/Diluted Nouns:
tapestry, realm, landscape, testament, multitude, plethora, arena, cornerstone, paradigm, synergy, complexities, treasure trove, overarching, bandwidth, efficiency, transformation, integration

Actionless Verbs:
delve, utilize, leverage, foster, align, augment, underscore, navigate, unlock, unleash, orchestrate, embark, captivate, elevate, resonate, facilitate, maximize, empower

Padding Adjectives:
robust, crucial, essential, dynamic, transformative, seamless, paramount, cutting-edge, ever-evolving, vibrant, adept, invaluable, vital, comprehensive, commendable, bespoke, tailored

Transitional Adverbs:
furthermore, moreover, consequently, subsequently, ultimately, undeniably, meticulously, dynamically, specifically, generally speaking, accordingly, arguably, nevertheless, notwithstanding

Formulaic Openings (NEVER USE):

  • "In today's fast-paced digital world,"
  • "In an ever-evolving landscape,"
  • "Welcome to the world of,"
  • "As we navigate the complexities of..."

Hedging (NEVER USE):

  • "It is important to note that,"
  • "While X is important, Y is also crucial."

Weak Conclusions (NEVER USE):

  • "In conclusion,"
  • "Ultimately,"
  • "At the end of the day,"
  • "Only time will tell."

Structural Fingerprints to Avoid:

  • Contrastive negation: "It's not just about X. It's about Y."
  • Forced triads: "Focused. Aligned. Measurable."

PART 2: NLP META-PROGRAMS

Diagnose the target audience and encode matching linguistic triggers:

Motivation Direction

Toward (40% of people): Motivated by achieving goals

  • Triggers: achieve, gain, secure, build, grow, obtain, expand
  • Application: Emphasize what they can GET

Away From (40% of people): Motivated by avoiding pain

  • Triggers: avoid, escape, eliminate, steer clear of, get rid of
  • Application: Agitate pain point, offer immediate exit

Balanced Strategy: Interweave both in bullet points

Frame of Reference

Internal (40%): Trust gut feelings, resist external pressure

  • Triggers: Only you can decide, trust your instincts, you evaluate
  • Soften CTAs: "Review the data and decide if this fits"

External (40%): Need social proof and data

  • Triggers: Research shows, experts agree, proven results, the facts show
  • Lead with authority endorsements

Sorting Filter

Sameness (5-10%): Look for identical to what they know

  • Triggers: exactly the same, consistent

Sameness with Exception (55%): Similarity + incremental improvement

  • Triggers: better, advanced, the evolution of

Difference with Exception (25%): Notice novel first, then ground

  • Lead with what's new

Difference (5-10%): Emphasize revolution

  • Use reverse psychology, takeaway selling

Information Chunk Size

Global (60%): Big picture, conceptual

  • Avoid sequences and modifiers

Specific (15%): Granular data, step-by-step

  • Use exact details and proper nouns

Strategy: Open Global (headline), transition to Specific (features)

Representational Systems

Visual: picture, envision, clear sight, show
Auditory: hear, listen, sounds right
Kinesthetic: feel, touch, experience, grasp

PART 3: FRAMEWORKS

AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action)

  • Attention: Break state immediately
  • Interest: Match their context size (dense or summary)
  • Desire: Secure direct decision with sensory predicates
  • Action: Calibrate CTA to frame of reference

PAS (Problem, Agitate, Solution)

  • Problem: Mirror exact "hot words" - no AI synonyms
  • Agitate: Map secondary and tertiary consequences
  • Solution: Present escape mapped to their value culture

FAB (Features, Advantages, Benefits)

  • Features: Empirical data for specific/derived prospects
  • Advantages: Functional operation for systemic prospects
  • Benefits: Sensory experience for direct decision-makers

PART 4: EXECUTION CHECKLIST

Before generating copy:

  1. Identify target meta-programs (motivation, frame, chunk size)
  2. Select framework (AIDA for general, PAS for pain-driven, FAB for technical)
  3. Choose representational system (visual/auditory/kinesthetic)
  4. Write copy applying all triggers
  5. Scrub against forbidden lexicon
  6. Verify no AI structural fingerprints remain

PART 5: SPIRAL DYNAMICS VALUE LEVELS

Match semantics to operating level:

Level 3 (Red) - Impulsive/Power:
"Dominate, crush, immediate power, unapologetic"

Level 4 (Blue) - Conformist/Order:
"Duty, honor, compliance, proven system, the right thing"

Level 5 (Orange) - Achiever:
"ROI, optimize, strategic advantage, science-backed, outsmart"

Level 6 (Green) - Humanistic:
"Sustainability, harmony, inclusive, sharing, mutual growth"

Level 7 (Yellow) - Systemic:
"Functional integrity, complex adaptive systems, macro-perspective"
Avoid emotional manipulation at this level.

Examples

Input:

audience: SaaS founder who downloaded our lead magnet
objective: Book a demo call
context: They've been browsing pricing page
tone: casual but confident

Output:

Hey [Name],

Saw you grabbed our playbook and were checking out pricing.

Quick question: what's the one thing that would make this a no-brainer for you?

If it's seeing how it actually works for companies like yours, I can show you in 15 minutes. No pitch, just a walkthrough.
