AI Agent Security Skill

Boundary

  • AI never writes to SQL Server directly. Every read/write goes through the backend GraphQL with GRIOT_SERVICE_TOKEN (resolved to the restricted ai-agent principal).
  • Tool call authorization is re-checked per workspace in the backend.

Prompt injection

  • User text is DATA, never instructions. System prompt bans tool-call modification of unrelated entities. Tools apply their own project/workspace scoping.

Mutations

  • Propose-before-write: agent returns a proposed action; the Copilot UI renders an approval card; the human approves; the APP calls the API itself.

Cost caps

  • Daily token budget per workspace recorded in Redis; alarms on over-budget runs.

Audit

  • Every tool call logged with workspaceId, tool, payloadHash, runId. Week-6 OWASP review includes the AI principal scope.
